Why take the Healthy Business Pledge?
BioPrep Solutions is offering businesses a Healthy Business Pledge Training Course to educate business owners and build customer confidence. While a number of communities are encouraging businesses to self-certify that they are following CDC and local policies and procedures, this program will educate business leaders about what those protocols mean, how to implement them, and the most effective ways to communicate those efforts. Businesses that take the 45 minute training module will become receive a certificate of completion, virtual logo, and window decal to display and promote their commitment.

Vanessa Eddy
Vanessa is a 15-year government veteran and a well-known biological threat, COVID-19, biodefense and public health expert. She has worked across the interagency and multi-national fora and is a leader, manager, and entrepreneur. She has worked around the globe building strategies and plans for chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear planning response and recovery efforts. She excels at risk mitigation, strategy, public health response, and small business creation. Her experience and goals include developing mid-to-long term strategies, recovery plans, and creative measures to ensure the U.S., its strategic interests, international partners, the economy, and businesses are able to adapt and succeed in any environment. Ms. Eddy holds a Masters in Public Policy with an emphasis in Global Medical Health Policy.

Elizabeth Feinstone
Elizabeth Feinstone, MPH is a Health Promotion Specialist, ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, and E-RYT Yoga Instructor with over a decade of experience in the fitness and wellness industries. She co-founded Yoga on the Fly, the first-to-market private yoga studio in airports and has been featured in the New York Times, Forbes, and Condé Nast. She received Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science from George Washington University Milken Institute School of Public Health and Master's in Public Health from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health. Elizabeth's experiences with start-ups and public health has driven her response to assist individuals and businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Jaclyn Sarnese
Jaclyn Sarnese, MSEd is a science educator, educational consultant and professional learning specialist. Jaclyn considers herself a "forever educator" and guides learners of all ages, backgrounds and experiences through engaging lessons in alignment with learning science research. Jaclyn started in the classroom teaching high school biology and biomedical science before discovering her love for adult professional learning. In addition to her work with Bioprep, Jaclyn is the founder of Elevated STEM Teaching, a co-chair for the San Diego STEM Ecosystem and a board member for Urban Growth, a hydroponic farming non-profit. Jaclyn earned her Bachelor's in Biology and Secondary Education from the University of Miami and her Master's in Education Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.

I just wanted to give a shout out to Code Ninjas -- I had my boys enrolled in their 1/2 day camp last week, and I was very impressed with their health safety precautions. I noticed the sign on their door that they had completed the Healthy Business course, which was reassuring, too. I loved how the kids had to wear their masks in the facility and they were spaced out in the room, with a small group of kids, etc. They seemed to be doing everything right!
